Questions & Answers about the
TiFinity Flosserbrush:
Q.
Why would anyone pay $25 for a manual toothbrush?
A.
The product, no doubt will save countless people from
going through the emotional, physical, and financial suffering that occurs
as a result of tooth loss due to periondontal disease(imagine yourself
with missing teeth or dentures). To fully understand the value of this
product you must first appriciate the fact that every brushing does far
more than if you were to brush with nylon and floss. The closest
equivalent (although not an adequate comparison) to brushing with TiFinity
would be to use a Sonicare along with bow flossers at each brushing which would cost over $25 per month. Even if you replaced your TiFinity once every month at $25 retail you are still saving money and reducing your risk of tooth loss. Distributors can save even more by purchasing each brush for $14. We, at TiFinity hope you will enjoy the benefits of this new technology.
Q.
Wouldn’t it be too abrasive to use titanium bristles?
A.
No. The ADA has a standardized test that measures the abrasivity of
toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bruce Schemehorn M.S., an authority
on abrasivity at Indiana University, performed this test and compared it
to nylon. The results of this study were that TiFinity tested out with no
more abrasivity to hard tooth structure than a nylon toothbrush.
Q.
Does the TiFinity manual toothbrush remove plaque as well as
my electric toothbrush?
A.
Yes, as a matter of fact it removes more plaque then your electric
toothbrush. A direct comparison study of the TiFinity™ toothbrush vs.
the Sonicare® has been completed. See scientific studies on this
website for the full report. TiFinity outperformed Sonicare by 15% in
terms of plaque removal.
Q.
"Is it true that toothbrushes collect germs?
A.
Yes. The TiFinity™ bristle material repels water, and does not promote
bacterial growth like nylon. Also, its super-elastic filaments rebound to
their original position without deforming, therefore, do not collect food
debris or bacteria as readily as nylon. A nylon toothbrush has been
shown to carry more germs than a toilet brush.
Q.
How long will the TiFinity™ toothbrush last?
A.
This is determined by each individual's brushing habits. Have you
seen or heard of individuals who seem to trash their toothbrush within
a few days? Naturally a person with these brushing habits cannot
expect to have a life expectancy as one who brushes normally. What
we do know is that your TiFinity™ toothbrush will stay in brand new
condition much longer than a nylon toothbrush. Your TiFinity
will last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
Q.
Will this type of toothbrush cause gum recession?
A.
No. While most people have some areas of gingivitis which is the early
stage of gum disease. As a result of plaque irritating and inflaming the
gum tissue, swelling and inflammation may be present. The gum tissue
often feels and appears to be spongy or puffy. The amazing cleaning
qualities of this brush will penetrate under the gums and between the
teeth much better. As a result, you may experience bleeding initially
from several days up to a few weeks. The puffy gums will become tight
and healthy and thus may recede. Once the gums are tight against the
bone, gum recession will cease.
Q.
How will I know when to throw my TiFinity™ toothbrush away
and replace it?
A.
At some point the bristles will begin to fail and fall out of
the brush. Once this occurs, replace your TiFiniy immediately. This is
why we recommend that you sign up for our automated program either as
a distributor or as a user.
Q.
Toothbrushes have been made out of nylon for generations.
Why is there a need for change?
A.
Nylon actually is a poor material for a toothbrush when you consider
how fast it wears out rendering it ineffective as well as the unsanitary
nature of the material. Consider this, a recent study has shown that
nylon brushes remove up to 30% less plaque at 3 months, than when
the brush is new. (see Scientific Studies)
Q.
What kind of testing has been done on the TiFinity™?
A.
View test results in our Scientific Studies section.
Q.
So does this mean I don't have to go to any more dental
hygiene appointments?
A.
No. However, your regular dental hygiene appointments will be much
more pleasant since using TiFinity Toothbrush will make your gums
stronger and healthier.
Q.
What difference in my gums and teeth can I expect after using
this toothbrush?
A.
No doubt you will see firmer, healthier, tighter and stronger gum tissue.
Healthy gums are essential to healthy teeth; healthy teeth are
essential to a healthy body.
